About me

Hey there, I'm Jay! Here is a little bit about me...
I’m a mum of 3 kiddies and wife. I spend most of my time in the laundry washing clothes. I have lived in Ballarat for over 20 years. I’m a chocolate lover, coffee hater (I know how ridiculous haha), and I have a soft spot for cars and cute puppies as well as a movie and a good burger.
After graduating University with a double degree in Business/IT I threw myself into the creative world, of working full time while running my freelance graphic design and web development business. With over 20 years of experience in customer service, graphic design and building online resources, I have also produced a number of digital narratives and short films - working on the pre-production side organising everything behind the scenes. I love a well organised excel spreadsheet, a good to do list and a good challenge! A self taught perfectionist really!
I have always had a passion for capturing life's fun and precious moments, even at high school in the dark room processing images (showing my age). It's now my time to expand my company into creating special beautiful moments for the community. With a keen eye for detail and a love for storytelling, I ensure that every photo session captures the emotion of what my clients experience, whether that be in a candid or semi directed way.

I have experience with neurodivergent children, dementia, elderly & adult disability so I would like to see myself as very patient and kind. For newborn sessions, I will wear a mask, and have sanitiser available. I have an updated Flu, RSV & Whooping Cough (2024) vaccine, Covid vaccines and a Working with Children (WWC) check.
